I came from a small town.  I grew up knowing my neighbors, playing in the street and dreaming about the city.  Successes and failures have inspired along the way.  And the music reminds.  Experiences; we all have them.

I started painting a while back.  Not necessarily for art, but for bare walls.  Then I finished the first one.  I stood back amidst smooth red wine and laughed, “I can’t believe I did that.”

And it hasn’t stopped.  I screw up and start again.  When I finish something, I stand back and giggle at myself.  Painting feels right to me.  And at this moment, painting the human body is a new air.

My family is the most important thing in my life.  And friends are family.  I believe that our true loved ones are those that love us regardless.  Children are pure imagination and I so cherish the little ones around me.  I have support and advice coming from great people and this is my strength.

I have always stayed afloat in a restaurant.  Actually, I’ve always felt the most at home in a restaurant.  People, people, people.  There is money to made and pride to be taken.  Dining out is one of my very favorite things.  I expect a lot both where I dine and where I work.  I could forever make ends meet doing this.

My education is in Business and Finance.  I worked as a Broker for a bit.  I saw a lot of people lose their money and their jobs. And then I lost mine.  I got a little package for leaving quietly and I went to Mexico, alone.  I was there for some time, for some reason and for the best spell of my life.  And when I returned, I started to paint.

I’m just a girl.  I’m not rich, I’m not stunning and I’m not going to stop until I find what I’m looking for.  This is my art.
